Today is WyoGives 2026, Wyoming’s statewide day of giving for only 24 hours, and we invite you to join us in making a difference for the seniors in our community.
For more than fifty years, it has been the mission and purpose of Laramie County Senior Services to honor and preserve Wyoming’s stories and history by enhancing the independence, dignity, and self-reliance of the Laramie County senior community. Every day, our organization works to promote the independence, dignity, and self-reliance of Laramie County seniors through programs, services, and opportunities that foster connection, wellness, and quality of life.
Your support helps ensure these valuable resources remain available for those who rely on them. From fitness classes that encourage strength, balance, and mobility to social activities, educational presentations, games, and special events, we strive to create opportunities for seniors to build friendships, learn new skills, and enjoy an active lifestyle. We also provide nutritious meals, wellness programs, resources, and connections to valuable community services that help seniors maintain their health, independence, and quality of life.
This year’s WyoGives campaign is especially exciting thanks to the generosity of Continue Care Home Health and Synergy HomeCare, who have provided matching gifts to help your donation make an even greater impact. In addition, qualifying nonprofits like ours are eligible for the Hughes Charitable Foundation WyoGives Incentive Pool, creating even more opportunities to strengthen our mission.
Throughout the day, we’ll be sharing photos, videos, and messages like the ones below from some of the incredible seniors, volunteers, and staff who make our community so special. Their smiles, enthusiasm, and support remind us why this work matters and why community support is so important.
